HELP! I have been getting botox injections for three years to get rid of migraines. It helps decrease the amount of migraines, but this last time I got the injections, I was left looking like a freak! My left eye looks smaller than my right eye and it is half closed and I can't open it like I used to! It looks like my right eye is trying to sleep while my right eye is wide-open! I can't raise my eyebrows at all. I can't even move any muscles at all on or around my left eye. I look so strange, I don't even want to go to work because of the way people look at me. I think I will go to the mall today to see if I can find some indoor sunglasses so I can hide from the world until this damn thing goes away. I have already called my doctor and screamed and yelled, but he just said that there was NOTHING that he could and I would just have to "wait it out", and he did not know how long it would be until it went away. I guess I will just go out and buy some sunglasses and glue them to my face until this goes away! Has anyone else had this experience? If not, think twice before you go to get a botox injection. I think I would rather suffer the migraines than look like a freak with one eye half-shut and the other one wide-open!
